ABOUT CHEF REVI
Hi!
I’m thrilled to bring you the culinary and cultural traditions I cherish so much. You could say Revi’s Kitchen started years ago in my home kitchen hosting friends who had never tasted my family’s recipes. I experienced the joy of teaching others how to cook, telling stories, and sharing fresh, incredible meals.
Or it begins decades earlier, growing up outside Natanya, Israel, eyes glued to my Yemenite grandmother’s hands as she prepared the dishes I now know by heart. They were all vivid with spice and influenced by the kaleidoscope of cultures that continue to shape Israeli cuisine: Mediterranean, Eastern European, North African, and beyond.
The kitchen has always been a place for me to understand my past while nourishing my present. When doctors told me I couldn’t eat most processed foods (gluten, refined sugar, dairy) I needed to take initiative and eat my way back to health. Thankfully, I had access to the vibrant flavors of my early culinary exposure to create wholesome, interesting food with healing benefits. I believe this journey of heritage and wellness ought to be shared. Cooking is, after all, more than making food—it’s about living joyfully, healthfully, and gathering us all around the table.
With love,
